How is This Cedar Chest Made?
These chests are handcrafted of solid wood material by our Amish woodworkers in Ohio.
This cedar chest is made of solid rustic cherry wood and stained in a beautiful cherry stain. Protecting the rich details of the wood is pre-catalyzed polyurethane. A cedar-lined bottom on the inside helps protect against insects and fungus. With a scalloped base and waterfall lid, this rustic cherry chest is an incredibly unique yet classic piece.
We've crafted our cedar chests for the most functional use. We include a lock and key so you can safely use the trunk for storing special items, and anti-slam hinges help protect against accidental hurting of fingers and hands.
